Angie's challenge

I decided to take Angie's pinterest challenge. The only thing is I had already done this one this spring. this is the pinterest pin I liked.

It worked out well because one of the neighborhood cats jumped on my water fountain and broke the top piece. It still works great as a planter though. I am still adding more plants as I find ones I like.

The new wall

We have been talking about moving the wall to the back yard forward for a while. it will give as more back yard and we can put in the fish pond we want. after getting approval from the hoa we got started.Dale dug a trench and poured footings. Then we put up the wall , added the gate then took down part of the old wall.It makes a very nice court yard area.I really did help too, I just can't take a picture of myself working.
This is before we started

Jack's 1st Haircut

Jack got his first haircut today. His hair was so long and into his eyes that he had trouble seeing over it. We took him into the Petsmart grooming for a bath blow dry and trim. He did a good job of not wiggling too much and came out looking pretty snazzy. It took a lot of energy for all that and has been sleeping since we got home.

Room to move

We got two cockatiles a few weeks ago off craigslist. We had found a cage a a garage sale that worked but was a little small for them. Yesterday I was looking on craigslist again and found this gem...

the bird cage not the other Gem that I found a few years back and am holding on tightly to.
Dale cleaned it up and painted it and now the birds have a lot more room to move around in. He changed the color from black to nutmeg brown.

the next project is to clean up the other cage and put it on craigslist. I think it is like a rovolving door. but that way stuff doesn't pile up.

The D-Backs Game

Dale and I got the chance to go to Chase field and see the Arizona Diamondback Baseball team play Monday night. We got a super deal on Groupon to get
$25.00 tickets for $13.00.

Two very happy people. We sat in section 111- between first base and where the outfielder stands.5th row up. It was like sitting on the field.

Two of the lengend racers. Gracie never wins. What's up with that?

They open the top. Way cool!!

first baseman- Paul Goldschmidt

Justin Upton hit a homerun to bring in the only score of the game

High fives all around with a win of 1-0 over the Pirates

Ian Kennedy pitched. It was his 20th win of his career.

We really enjoyed the evening and are excited to watch this team make the playoffs.
